Veteran's Day Ceremony Friday, Nov. 11 in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea

The Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is sponsoring a Veterans DayCeremony on Friday, Nov. 11th to pay tribute to the Lauderdale-By-The-Sea veterans and others who bravely served their country in the military.

The event, which is free and open to the public, is at 10AM in front of Town Hall, 4501 N. Ocean Drive.

This year’s keynote speaker is Leland (Lee) Liebe, a veteran and the senior director ofMission United of Broward County, a veterans service organization that has helped more than 2,000 veterans and their families secure jobs, needed housing, education, critical health care and legal aid.

The Town’s Veterans Day Ceremony will feature the Broward Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard, and a presentation of the colors by the Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Volunteer Fire Department Honor Guard.

Music for the event will be provided by the Patriot Brass Trio. Refreshments will be available afterwards.

All local veterans as well as the public is invited to attend this patriotic Town event to help honor our nation’s veterans.
