Springtime in our quaint seaside town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is full of interactive and engaging events. Here’s a preview of what to expect this season
Dance the Night Away
Grab your dancing shoes and head down to the Beach Pavilion every second and fourth Sunday (November through May) from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. for Dancing
By The Sea. Renowned ballroom dance teacher Danny Carter teaches a variety of free dance classes including swing, salsa, tango and ballroom. All
ages are welcome to dance the night away!
Yoga on the Beach
Find your Zen with the sea air in your hair. Every Tuesday and Thursday (through May 10) at 7 a.m., everyone is invited to practice seaside meditation
with Yoga By the Sea at El Prado Park (located on El Mar Drive). Tall palm trees and plenty of grassy space make for a peaceful environment to
practice yoga. Admission is free and all ages are welcome.
If you’re interested in checking out local art, come out to Green Turtle Plaza on Commercial Boulevard for 4th Thursdays Art Stroll from 6 p.m. – 9
p.m. (April-June). You can listen to music and enjoy artists and their creations along the walkway.
Fresh Produce at El Prado Park
Local produce is high in demand in Florida. The farmers market at El Prado Park, presented in partnership with the Community Farmers Market of South
Florida, happens every Sunday (through May) from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., and you can find plenty of fresh food and homemade trinkets. For information
on vendors, call (561) 714-2745.
