Residents and visitors to the Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea enjoyed a very successful Christmas-By-The-Sea, their annual Holiday kick off event,  on Wednesday December 7 in Anglin's Square.

At least five thousand people turned out for the multi-generational event, which was the largest crowd ever! Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived atop the LBTS Volunteer Fire Department ladder engine for the Christmas Tree lighting.

The fabulous live entertainment included young dancers and singers was provided by Jodi McMahon-Bergman and the University Center for the Performing Arts in Davie. The South Florida Cloggers also performed a few eye-popping routines.

The Yuletide Market was a huge success, with seaside and holiday themed gifts and arts and crafts.

There was huge line for hundreds of excited kids to meet with Santa at the Beach Pavilion.

All ages enjoyed the wonderful family event presented by the Town, with support from State Contracting and Engineering in Hollywood and numerous other local and nearby businesses.
